Hardware requirements
Hardware requirements for PhoneJournal are as low as possible. Below are listed the minimum and recommended requirements for running our product.
To run PbxTools PhoneJournal properly you need an IBM-PC compatible computer with the following configuration:
- 100 Mhz Intel Pentium or better processor
- 32 MB RAM
- 50 MB free disk space
- A free serial (COM) port (only if you want to capture data using the serial port)
- A serial cable to connect the PBX to your computer.
Supported PBX Units
Our software was developed to run on almost any PBX unit. So if your PBX supports SMDR (Station Message Detail Recording) or CDR (Call Data Recording) you'll be able to use our program. For a complete list of the supported Pbx models and other data sources please consult PBX units supported by PhoneJournal page.
If your PBX unit is not listed here you can send us a sample of the data sent by the PBX captured with our software. We'll add support for you unit in 24 hours or less, free of service. Use the contact form to send us the data.
